Field Sales Account Manager – Outside Sales Representative

We are looking for Commercial HVAC Field Sales Account Managers to sell our HVAC services to various property management companies and to sale maintenance contracts to commercial owners. Our Commercial HVAC Field Sales Account Managers have the very real potential to earn over $100,000 per year, with a weekly W2 salary (not a draw) and absolutely no cap on commissions.

Job Responsibilities
As a Field Sales Account Manager, you will generate Commercial HVAC sales by offering potential customers a no-cost, no-obligation HVAC inspection and assistance in the navigation of the insurance claim process. The key to success as a Commercial HVAC Field Sales Account Manager is a strong and enthusiastic commitment to prospecting and lead generation and to excellent and individualized customer service along with strong networking skills with General Contractors.


Your specific duties as a Commercial HVAC Field Sales Account Manager will include:

  • Generating leads primarily via calling on Property Management companies and selling maintenance contracts to commercial owners
  • Meeting or exceeding sales quotas on a consistent basis
  • Offering prospective customers a no-cost, no-obligation HVAC inspection
  • Conducting expert HVAC inspections, including taking photographs of specific areas of damage and wear, then conferring with prospective customers
  • Meeting with customers when their insurance adjuster inspects the HVAC and acting as an expert advocate on customer’s behalf as needed.
  • Collecting insurance check from adjuster and filing signed customer contract with company
  • Visiting worksite on the day of installation to ensure that the process is going smoothly, and using this as another opportunity to generate new business in the neighborhood
  • Contacting customers for a four-week follow-up once installation is complete
  • Entering all customer and contract information into our FileTrack system via company laptop PC
  • Attending daily morning team meetings at our office, except when you have customer visits scheduled
  • Maintaining professional appearance and demeanor and keeping your truck clean and neat


Job Requirements
As a Commercial HVAC Field Sales Account Manager, you must be driven, self-motivated and ambitious in your pursuit of new sales prospects. It is also important that you are highly detail oriented and able to multitask and manage relationships with multiple customers at multiple points throughout the sales process. You must also have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate effectively with insurance adjusters. Proven experience meeting quotas and networking with General Contractors is also vital for your role as a Commercial HVAC Field Sales Account Manager.

Specific qualifications for the Field Sales Account Manager include:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but will accept equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 3 years experience in field sales or equivalent experience with other types of quota-driven sales, Residential HVAC sales a plus.
  • Basic computer and internet skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Ability to use a Blackberry
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather
  • Ability to easily climb and to work on roofs
  • Ability to pass background check, driving check and drug screen
