Job Description and Responsibilities

We are currently seeking an experienced property and casualty insurance professional with a successful track record in all phases of claim management, analysis and adjusting.   The employee we seek should have extensive experienced in work product reviews and audits that identified development improvement opportunities, followed with appropriate feedback and successful training that improves claim handling processes, and improved bottom line results.

 Your specific duties as a Field Insurance Claims Manager will include:

  • Develop and implement a communication model between Jasper Contractors and Insurance companies. To include but not limited to, supplements, Phase 1 contact (pre-assessment), Phase 2 (post assessment), re-inspections, document retrieval (loss notice), and check release.
  • Review and improve all standard documents currently being submitted by Jasper Contractors to insurance companies for optimum results.
  • Identify and create benchmarks for communicating with insurance companies.
  • Monitor, audit, and over-see the communication process between Jasper Contractors and insurance companies to ensure the fastest results. 

Job Requirements

Specific qualifications for the Field Insurance Claims Manager include:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of general insurance policy coverage and state regulations.
  • Thorough knowledge of claims investigation techniques.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize claims workload.
  • Demonstrates good interpersonal skills including verbal and written communications.
  • Must have 5 year claims management experience with a major insurance carrier
  • Field Property / Home Owner's Claims experience is desired.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but will accept equivalent work experience
  • Must be able to travel 50%.
